In celebration of spring, Royal Nautiq purchased a bunch of leftover stock from Achilles to offer to you at 10% off MSRP. We have models ranging from the entry level LEX series, a few LSI air decks, and both aluminum and fiberglass HB models in 9 and 10ft lengths. I’ll be more diligent updating the inventory levels on the site, when possible, as the hats I wear are many.

We scooped up a bunch of leftover models from the factory, and offer them to the masses free of taxation and no charge shipping from the manufacturer. These models include all 2022 HB-270AX, HB-310AX, and HB-310AL models.

The 2023 Royal Nautiq lineup has been released.

It’s the moment you all have been waiting for. Royal Nautiq finally has our own lineup of dinghies for your consumption. We’ve been working hard over the winter with our manufacturer, building the best tender design from our perspective, and it will be coming soon to a Royal Nautiq dealer near you.

We are using the simplified is the best approach methodology when it came to our model range. Our goal was to take the guesswork out of choosing an appropriate dinghy for the dock that offers the best performance, value, durability, and modular design. We took the most advanced boat building materials and design with proven construction methods to build our dinghies. Bonus, it is mostly recyclable to reduce its footprint when the time comes.

We’re starting off with two sizes, 2.9m (9ft 6in) and 3.1m (10ft 2in) long. All hulls are made of powder coated aluminum with a double hull configuration, allowing for a bow box large enough for a 3gal gas tank and fuel line rigged below the deck. All tube sets are made of Achilles T10 fabric in light grey with EPDM flat rub rail for maximum durability and long service life. The tubes will be naked, as in no handles, oar locks, graphics, etc., thus allowing a custom look based on individual requirements.

Three models will be available for purchase. CL290 Open, CL310 Open, and CL310 Power Ready which includes the FCT7 console. The console is a factory option for all Open models, as is the Safety Handle package, a Royal Nautiq exclusive. We know you’re going to love our tenders as much as we do, and we wanted to make one for all the people out there that have come to visit us bearing their design notes. We’ve been very busy at Royal Nautiq getting some projects done in preparation for the wake after the Newport Boat Show this weekend. Typically, visitors assemble at the boat show, see how expensive new boats are, and quickly retreat to internet searches for deals on new and used boats elsewhere. We’ve seen this year after year, and know that our inventory needs to keep up with said demand, so we cranked to meet customer needs.

Currently in stock are both new and used Achilles tenders, from basic roll up to hard bottom cocktail cruiser loaded up with the options. We also stock both new and used engines, typically power options from 4hp to 30hp are available.

The latest trend in boating has been the cocktail cruiser. Highfield kicked the cap off of this style of boat a few years back, and the market has been very hot for this type of inflatable. They can be friendly on the dinghy dock and davits, while providing a solid day tripper for the captain and crew. We’ve come up with a very high standard of finish work, wrapping an Achilles hull with a Highfield FCT7 floating helm console. The results speak for themselves.

It’s based on standards of assembly for both rigging hardware and electrical work that makes for a reliable combination that can work with any powerhead option that is available. During these Covid times, sourcing engines has become such a difficult problem. To circumnavigate this, we have been able to purchase new engines from major manufacturer dealers and boat builders and rig them with our modular platform. Bottom line is that we have complete boats where the typical response is that the boat is backordered through next year(!) in most cases.

So, if you find yourself at the Newport Boat Show and are hot on the prospect of owning a new or new-to-you inflatable, you’ll need to shop us last. We’ve worked out the best standards, and build them to a level of finish that we would feel comfortable allowing our family on the vessel. Let us build one for you.
